Our story

It started with one fire and a long table.

Maru's began as Sunday lunches that ran late — too much food, friends who wouldn't leave, and a fire that stayed lit till dark. We decided to make a restaurant out of exactly that feeling.

Today the fire is bigger and the table seats a lot more people, but the idea hasn't moved: honest local ingredients, cooked simply over flame, served without ceremony. Pull up a chair.
